Attorney Bio

Kristopher Aungst, Esq.

        Kris graduated from Grand Valley State University  and received a Bachelor of Science Degree, with majors in Political Science and Philosophy.  He then attended the University of Alabama: School of Law where he was first exposed to bankruptcy, graduating in 2002.  During law school he clerked for the Honorable Judge Coogler, then a presiding state court judge and now a Federal District Judge in Alabama.

      Following law school, Kris clerked for the Honorable Judge Briskman, the Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Middle District of Florida.  He then went on to be selected to the United State's Justice Department's Honor's Program and worked with the United States Trustee's office in Columbus, Ohio.

    After four years with the Justice Department Kris moved to Miami in 2008 working over the next fourteen years with debtors, creditors, trustees and assignees throughout Florida and the country in a wide variety of bankruptcy, receivership and assignee matters.
